  3. That's more than 10 1/2 minutes per mile. It is not good at all. I'm guessing you either cramped up, it was really really hot, you didn't try hard, or you're a large person. Run more often and you'll get that time down a lot; there is a lot of room for improvement.

Hey, first of all good job with your running.  Your average pace per mile is 10:34.  I can't tell you if this is good or not, because you neglected to include age and gender, but even still don't worry so much about comparing yourself to others.  There are some people who could run 2.5 miles in 12 minutes while others could take over 30 minutes.

    The question is, how did you feel after running 2.5 miles?  With a gradual increase in weekly mileage and devoting one day a week to speed training, you could easily improve your time.  Listen to your body.  The improvement will come.  Good luck!

  14. umm, that really stinks. train harder if u wanna be good at it. ur mile is gonna be over 10 minutes. i don't even run track a lot (i swim and play soccer), but mine is like 6 minutes for a mile. i'm thirteen tho, and in shape. if ur not a young adult anymore tho, that would be okay, but i seriously say get more healthy and run more. try and get under twenty minutes. be healthy and live longer.
