I assume you mean DVD recorder.

It all depends on the format -R, +R, RAM, etc. so you need to read the instrauctions of your recorder.

The easiest eay would be to create "chapters" where the commercials are and then hide them when you play the DVD back.

hi, editing is depending on the dvd formates and recorder u're using. so if u record stuffs with dvd-r cds, there is not at all possibles to edit. if u record with rw formate cds, that means re-writable, u can edit as u wish.
