If i request the towing company to tow a car parked in a no parking area?

will they tow the car at the owners expense? and do i need to help them find where the car is parked?

  1. Yes the owner will have to pay to get it out of an impound lot and of course ...how can they tow it if they don't know where it is?


  2. Call the police and let them handle it.

  3. If the no parking area is not yours, you cannot have a vehicle towed.  In other words, if you are a tenant in an apartment, and a vehicle is in a no parking zone in the lot, the only person who can authorize a tow is the caretaker or the building owner.  If you are talking about a no parking zone on civic property, only a police officer, or duly authorized parking patrol can authorize a tow.
