If i restore my ipod and set it up as a new ipod do i have to repurchase the 2.0 software upgrade?

I purchased the ipod touch 2.0 firmware update and various paid apps, if i restore my ipod and set it up as a new ipod (not using a backup, in other words) do i have to re-purchase everything?

  1. All the info on the update and the apps are on your computer and in your account info on apples computers so, no you wont have to buy them again.


  2. If u installed iPod Touch firmware 2.0 already, it should of made a backup of your iPod touch for the 2.0 firmware and the apps, make sure they are transfered to ur iTunes account. If u do that than u can sync them back to ur iPod if they were deleted.
