  1. I started riding my bike for fun when I was a child and now I ride for exercise I need to get my heart rate up a bit from time to time to get a noticeable differance in my daily life. I also do some free weights and the best results come from squats and crunch pulls

  2. Hi, I race bikes professionally and spend approx 20hrs a week riding. In all seriousness doing 90mins of cycling every day i would expect you to feel a noticeable difference after a week. After a month i bet you will be able to see a noticeable difference.

If you can keep that sort of exercise up for a while then your doing yourself alot of good plus it's awesome fun!!

If you don't want bulky/big legs after a while then just make sure to pedal at a fast rate (use easier gears and spin legs faster) This way you work your heart (cardio) better and your legs are less likely to become big weight lifter style.

If you watch the pros, you will notice some can have quite skinny legs whilst others legs with be enormous. Alberto Contador v's Fabian Cancellara.

    Hope this helps :)

  3. You can see your results in a year. First, your body is healthy, stronger and your mind is well-shaped. Second, you may save money at least $1000-$1500 in a year because you already replace your car with your bicycle. I try my best to give a best answer. Please give me 10 points so I can reached my next level. Your kindness will be appreciated.

  4. It really depends on your age, how much you lift, and the terrain you ride on. What you should do is work different muscles on different days. i.e. one day do arms/upper body, another do torso, and then legs. Also it is better to do a medium weight a lot of times than a heavy weight just a couple of times. If you're not sore the next day, add a touch more weight and do a few more reps.

Its good that you're riding for 90 minutes, but if its downhill, it doesn't do anything. put the bike on the lowest gear (hardest resistance) and go on a level or uphill path.

for results though, its not like one day you're gonna wake up and be a new person. its a gradual process and you probably won't really notice much each day. either way if you are working out, results will come. if you want proof, take a before picture right now, and in a month ot two take another to compare.

  5. I ride my bike all the time for that amount of time or more and biking hasn't really helped to do anything but make my legs look bulkier (which is a good thing if that's what you're going for). It's super fun though.

I'd say you'll see results in 2-3 months.
