  1. Yea, if you want to do one after the other then I guess lifting weights would be better done in the afternoon rather than in the morning.

Lifting weights without proper warm up might end up with a sprained muscle. And if you're going to do it in the afternoon, your body would already be conditioned to carry out the task compared to doing it in the morning.

    Good luck!

  2. Sure dude try to get 2 miles in once and awhile

  3. Yes, running with weights is also good, and when your not running with weights, after a long time running with weights, you will feel lighter and faster.

  4. I've found that running everyother day like you said gives alot better results, but I think you should do weightlifting on the off day.  It's easier to stay motivated when you do something everyday and you'll get better results if your not tired from running earlier.  There are plenty of different workouts that could work great for you, you just need to find the one that works for you and stick with it.

  5. like others hav sed, ur better off going to the gym every other day just to keep motivated and not overtrain. if not i would say lift weights first as this firstly uses up ur gylcogen stores (energy) so therefore you get a better workout with your run and burn more fat etc...train hard!
