If i run a swamp cooler in my room , how would this affect my computer as far as mouisture?

I am concerned about a swmp cooler ( Portable) affecting m computer in the long run as far as moisture. I am in a small bedroom. Please offer advice.

swamp coolers were made for hot and dry areas. they are designed to put moisture in the air. i wouldn't put a computer anywhere near a swamp cooler, especially a small room

I would respectfully disagree. I don't think the swamp cooler will have any effect on the computer.  It will certainly be a lot less humid than many parts of the country are normally.  My son never had any problem with his computer when he ran his cooler.
