If i see a baby praying mantis...?

...infront of my house, will it be there forever, or will it move away sometime? the one i saw was only about an inch.

they only live for a year, so even if it sticks around, it would soon die or be eated by a chamelion

Baby praying mantises can only slowly walk around, but once they grow into their final molt, they are able to fly. Meaning that they can leave.
