If i see something cool on a site and want somthing like in on mine?

Where do i find out how to do it?.....like send a text to a phone from a website like this one http://www.smseverywhere.com/send.htm.......or start an open chat...or whatever

I have read books on php, java and ruby, plus xhtml and css, but none of them teach that trick. Cool man, you taught me something new lol.

you have to tailor these things to your own server. Get some webhosting with a good host like Hostgator and test out Fantastico. It's got loads of automated scripts that you can install in seconds. You'll have a lot of fun with it.

The SMS thing..you can't just put that on your site, you have go through a company which provides that kind of service.

As long as it's not written in PHP, (it's executed on the server) you can go to View->Source or Page source and find the piece of code that coresponds to the website/webpage. You can see how they scripted it and do something similar to that on your website. This is assuming you have a basic understand of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and since you claimed to have a website, I believe I am correct in assuming this.
