  1. I don't know but I'd be interested to find out. Tell me if it works. And you should probably switch to Linux if you don't want to pay, Linux is better anyway.

  2. I never knew there was a windows xp trial... I think you should just buy a new computer that comes with it. Also you can always pirate the software from a site but its illegal I guess.

You should try anyways though, you can always set it back.

  3. i think it will work i dunno cause i have vista but try it backup your stuff first

  4. It might work. However, you should either download an OS like some flavor of Linux or pay for XP.

  5. if your 30 day trial is up, its up. You can try going to the BIOS to reconfigure the date but highly doubt it will work. I tried it when i had a 30 day trial with windows vista. I did the same thing you did AND even went to command prompt to change it up. After the day was over, I tried turning my computer on. No luck. When you use the 30 day trial, it is basically asking you to buy the product since there will be no way out after 30 days is up.

  6. I don't know about XP pro, but for Windows Server 2008, they're much more sophisticated than just looking at the date.  I think they also record the last time the system was running, so if you just set the date back, they see that it is less than the last time, and bad things happen.  You might have to install all over again at that point, or else pay up.
