  1. No, the router issues IP addresses to each computer, device, attached to it.  Changing one will not effect the others.


  2. This question doesn't make any sense. The ip address comes from the modem. You can't just change 1 computer's IP address, you can only change the modems, in which case yes it would change for all computers hooked up to the router. If you are referring to the computers Physical address, you can change this without changing the other computers.

  3. I assume you mean the inside "private" IP on the LAN - such as ipconfig /release or ipconfig /renew.  No, it will only change it on that one computer.  If you want to change all the computers you have to do it on every computer or reset the router so all the DHCP leases will be forgotten and re-requested.

    The outside (WAN/Internet) IP is assigned to the modem by your ISP and you can't change that yourself (but yes, that one would affect all the computers although it shouldn't matter)

  4. No, the assignment is from router. As long you don't make changes from router that will effect all PC, the rest of IP will not be effected
