  1. i am currently playing for the university of hong kong, and i dont think there is a prob to play for another club over here either, but i'm not too sure about where you are.

  2. Depends - if you are in the United States and both teams play under USA Rugby Rules - you can only be CIPP'd for one team. You could play friendlies, etc., but at playoffs - they check IDs and if your teams made it to league divisional playoffs, you would have to be CIPP'd on their roster, and you can only be registered for one team.

    :(

  3. Totally, no problem at all. Club and University Contracts do not contravene any rules about registration.

  4. There is no problem for with club contracted players representing their University in the BUSA championship on Wednesdays. Many players with the better uni teams ie Oxford, Cambridge, Loughborough, Brunell etc have contracts with premiership or championship clubs.

If however your university have a side which plays in the national leagues on a Saturday, you would need to be registered with the university to play for them, on a Saturday, and as you have a contract with your home club you will be registered there and so illegible for the uni side.

Out of interest it may be worth you asking your club if they mind you playing though as getting injured while running out for the uni could annoy them slightly. Especially if you're being financially rewarded with your contract.

    Does that make sense?

Have a great season. I really miss uni rugby.
