This may sound crazy because it was pretty lifeless when i flushed but i've heard these things can survive a nuke so i just want to make sure i'm good. Also if I had one does that mean that there are more?

  1. Lol Ive done the same thing. squish it pick up with toilet paper and flush it down the toilet.

  2. Apparently you didn't really squash it otherwise you wouldn't have to ask this question;  squash mean crush!    If you saw one cockroach in your crib, you best believe there are MANY others lurking somewhere hidden until the lights go out.   Theres NEVER just one roach.

  3. I think it means it will die... did you see it's insides squish out?

  4. If you don't kill it before you flush it,it will live on and when you find one ,there are others lurking.

  5. Yahh. im pretty sure it will be dead.

and that doesnt necessarily mean you have more

    haha

    good luck

  6. If you squashed it, it won't miraculously come back to life.  If it wasn't squashed that good, it will survive in the sewer system.  I have personally been deep in sewers, and the walls are literally covered from top to bottom with cockroaches.  They breed down there, and have everything that they need to survive.  Water, food, and a controlled environment.  As long as all your plumbing fixtures have water in the p-trap, most pests can't enter your home.  Occasionally we hear of an escaped snake,or rats, that suddenly show up in a completely different house.  They smell the water in the toilet, and go for a drink.  They just start head first, and continue to enter the toilet, ending up, not being able to turn around, they continue forward, ending up in the sewer system.  They will keep going until they find an easy path, and will end up entering another home.  If the snakes owner would just keep the lid closed, it would be harder for a snake to enter the toilet in the first place.  This was the original intention of toilet seat lids, to keep varmints from entering a building.  I was called to a house, that had a rat swimming in the toilet.  We concluded, that it crawled in through the pipes, and ended up swimming through the water in the bowl, but then couldn't get out of the slick toilet.  Makes you look before you sit after seeing that happen.

  7. Chances are that it is dead. However, I do not believe that he lived alone. You probably had witnesses to the act of cockroach brutality...mamma roach and clan are out there...and they know where and what you eat...and sleep.

  8. Hon,I believe in over kill.I do use the proper tools for there demise, shovels, hammers, bricks, flame thrower.Whatever it takes.

    My best
