  1. Depends on the gym. But I've trained since I was 14 and I'm now 17 and rolling with people my age(in most cases) isn't really any fun anymore. But if you find a good gym with a good instructor, rolling with older more experienced people will really help you progress fast. Remember, if you are the best guy in the gym then you will never get any better. Best of luck:)  Oh and in competition you can compete with the kids until you are 18.

  2. it depends your size,attitude,strenght

  3. no, i have been to bjj tournaments and they separate the ages.

  4. no

  5. I've trained at few places over the years and I've rolled with kids 14 and up... so in my experience you'd be allowed to roll with the adults.  I wish i would have started when i was 15

dmaud56 is also wrong about having to roll with people your own size.  at 150lbs I am one of the smallest people in my class and am routinely outweighed by 50-70 pounds.  I think it helps because when i roll with people my own size it seems much easier

  6. Most likely not. I fking train with 20 year old guys. I train in BJJ

  7. In grappling its virtually mandatory that you train with people your own size and therefore most likely age.  So unless that class has kids with pituitary gland problems, not likely.

  8. KIDS WOULD  RANGE FROM 11-19
