If i start taking acting classes, will i get credit for it like in auditions and stuff?

like will they be able to know that i took classes and etc

  1. You list the classes you have taken under training on your resume so yes the people you are auditioning for will look at your resume and see what classes you have taken/are taking.

    FYI most casting directors prefer people with training.

  4. Though you can be credited for expierience and lessons/training, it won't do you very well unless it has improved your own personal acting skills. Lessons mean nothing if you got no talent or real expierience out of it. Auditioners look for someone with talent, and then to a lesser extent expierience. If you make the cast, you can put it in your bio. It is most important that you make it known to the auditioners through talent and being rehearsed.

  5. Not "credit", no.  You can list all the classes and training you like, but if you can't handle the audition copy, you still get put in the "Reject" pile.  Every audition helps you learn, though, and once you start booking them, the on-set and onstage experience is in some ways even more valuable.

  6. List it in your RESUME!

    Once they look at resume they can see what past work you have done and if you have enough training based on their opinion.
