  1. Log in to your Yahoo Group on the web.  Then click on Members on the left-hand side of the page.  Then find the member you want to make a co-owner.  Just under this member's name, you'll see an Edit Membership link (pencil icon) - click it.  Then click the Change To Owner link near the bottom of the resulting page.  Then follow the directions on the next page.

When you're done making this other member a co-owner,, you can then demote yourself to an ordinary member if you want.  But you don't have to then demote yourself - a Yahoo Group can have two co-owners.  Anyway, if you want to demote yourself to an ordinary member, then click on the Moderators link/tab near the upper-left-hand corner of the Members list.  Then find yourself in the list of moderators, and click on the Edit Membership link (pencil icon) just below your login name.  Then scroll down to the Change To Member link and click on it.  Then follow the directions on the resulting page.

  2. You find them in your membership list.  Click edit  membership  under their name or i.d. scroll down and click   change to owner and follow the prompts.
