If i subscribes to a magazine in the middle of a month would I still get that months edition?

I want to subscribe to Revolver magazine and I saw that may's edition has M Shadows in it, so I really want to get this months edition, and i was wondering if i subscribed now if they would send it to me.

I have subscribed to many mags, and none ever sent me the current issue. It takes a while to process your subscription. I usually get the first ish in about 6 weeks. If you want the current ish of REVOLVER, you had best buy it at a newsstand or a boostore.

Usually when you sign up for a subscription it states that your first issue will arrive in 4-8 weeks.  Check the fine print where you sign up.
