  1. no. they charge u for it. u should just use any old box that fits ur product and just tape the edges so that it dont rip. yeah they wont tape it for u and they will give u a bitchy face for holding up the line.

  2. if you pay them extra they will.

  3. No, they will make you get out of line and purchase a box.  They sell boxes there for $4-10.  They will help you tape it up, but you will have to go back in line. My suggestion would be to have it all boxed up and head there.

  4. yea but it will cost a bit more if you do

  5. Most post offices have an area with postage supplies you can purchase.  Usually they won't package it for you though, it would hold up the already long lines.

  6. You have to pay for the boxes

  7. It depends on how big and how you're mailing it.  Priority mail boxes are free- but they have limited sizes and shapes.  You can get a free box from them, and they will tape it all up for you but then you are forced to mail Priority mail and it's more expensive.

You are better off just boxing it up yourself unless you absolutely want to mail it with Priority.

  8. yes they would be very happy to box it up

since they charge as per the weight of the box

they get lot of money u see

  9. It usually depends on the local Post Office and how busy they are.  Generally speaking, they're more than happy to sell you boxes, and sometimes you'll need to buy the tape, other times they'll let use some of their tape.  They're not obligated to do the boxing, but there have been times where my local Post Office wasn't busy and the lady behind the counter sold me a box and she basically boxed my item, taped it, addressed it for me and everything.  The next time I went there a snotty lady told would only sell me a box and let me borrow some tape, even though she let me know I should be buying tape.

My advice, find a cheaper (or free) box somewhere and box the item yourself.  It'll save you in the long run.  Stay AWAY from those UPS and Mail Box Etc. places, as they'll gouge you big time, as it appears some of their boxes must consist of 24K gold particles as high as they're priced.  However, they'll definitely help with boxing up your item.  I guess they have to justify the price of the boxes by including that service.

    GOOD LUCK!
