  1. Absolutely Not. ( if you had an Invisible Friend ) perfectly OK.

We all hide inside In the Cloaks of the Invisible  at time. ( especially Authors Character and authors and regular good old people

Dr. Dolittle Talked to the Animals. /  King Arthur Talked to the Trees

What's wrong with talking to Invisible Friends?

Books are Invisible Friends. etc. etc etc. Different Strokes for Different Folks

James Stewart had Harvey the Insible Pooka.Rabbit. ( Sounded the sanest of the WHole  Bunch LOL

INSANITY YOU ARE MY INVISIBLE FRIEND..

AND YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SANE. ( WITH A MIND LIKE A  RAZOR)

    Religious

Synonyms 2. reverent. Religious, devout, pious indicate a spirit of reverence toward God. Religious is a general word, applying to whatever pertains to faith or worship: a religious ceremony. Devout indicates a fervent spirit, usually genuine and often independent of outward observances: a deeply devout though unorthodox church member. Pious implies constant attention to, and extreme conformity with, outward observances. It can also suggest sham or hypocrisy: a pious hypocrite. 3. devoted, unswerving, meticulous.

    —Antonyms 2. impious.http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/r...

YES YOU CAN GO INSANE WITH TOO MUCH RELIGIOINOSITY

SOME DO/ THERE ARE RELIGIOUS CULTS ETC. ( INSANITY BECOMES REALITY)

  2. wow, what are you, 12?

Yes, there is a difference between them.

  3. No. Belief in God is not only reasonable and has been practised by many highly intelligent and scientific people. Since I have no reason to believe they are insane simply judging by this criteria, I have no reason to conclude you are insane solely on this factor. However I might be inclined to think you are leaning that direction if you judge everyone as insane who holds viewpoints other than your own.(Extremist is probably more fitting) I wonder why Sam Harris doesn't think it's insane to think that complex life can just pop into being from raw materials without intelligent intervention seeing as no one has ever witnessed this event. If he told me that a toaster popped into his house by itself would that make him equally insane? There is equal amount of evidence for this and by judgment he has included himself in the insane hyposthesis. Clearly he needs to do more work.

  4. No, I don't consider you insane if you're talking to an invisible friend every night because I do too!  heehee Well, not every night, but often.

You don't have to be 'religious' to communicate with those who are in the next plane, or dimension. If you create a positive connection it's possible to 'tune in' to them.

Recently I spoke to a psychic lady friend and asked if it's easy or difficult to communicate with the departed. She replied that she gets inundated mentally with people 'on the other side' who are most anxious to contact their friends and loved ones. Not all psychics are the same though because their abilities are based a lot on their experience and being able to interpret what they hear or see. The psychic informed me of a few facts and info on a friend of mine halfway around the globe (in southern hemisphere) and was spot on. So, any of you non-believers, take a little time to learn about the subject before you sweep it off the table. There's a lot we don't know about life!

  5. I would consider you very lonely and sad.

  6. my invisble friend is cooler than yours!

  7. As Sam Harris explains in his books, there is no difference is the absurdity of religious beliefs and the absurdity of other delusional beliefs.

You say Jesus talks to you, well good for you you are a Christian

You say a toaster talks to you, well then apparently you are crazy even though both concepts are equally ridiculous

  8. as a play on another answer...

If your friend is indeed Jesus...yes, you are insane

  9. Are there 2 of you?  Or is it a split personality?

Sometimes this avatar answers questions like they are religious and sometimes its like they are an atheist.

Is it 2 diff people because none of the answers tend to be troll like and so I dont think its an impersonation thing?

  10. Would I call Tom Hanks insane because he talks to a volleyball? Of course not.

  11. Visible in the spirit,

    The flesh cannot see

If you're  talking with the invisible friend,  it is of darkness.   ghosts ,spirits, demons,   who are not in the light are living in the Prince of Darkness   realm.  They see you.
