  1. The answer is probably yes BUT it depends what kind . . .

    for the best i would recommmend a withdrawl of the eggs for a week just to be sure. .

    (don't eat them for a week basically )

    OR if you contact a vet OR the maker of the flea treatment and ask .. what they think/advise.

    since you didn't name the type of flea treatment i can't be sure . .

  2. Fleas?

    Never had fleas, but for lice, I use poultry dust. No worries with the eggs. Dust 10 days later as well.

  3. You need to treat them for mites, lice and fleas. Hen fleas can be seen on chickens easily as can lice. Mites may be harder to see especially if they are in the feather follicle.

    I use ivermectin on all my chickens (1 drop on the back of the neck - use with caution and dont overdose). however i recommend you dont eat the eggs for a week.

  4. yes if you use the correct treatment from your vet, you can not just use dog or cat flea treatment.
