cause a lot of music got deleted off my computer, but i want to add more songs to my ipod.

if i turn off the automatic syncing, and plug my ipod in, will it delete music off of it?

  1. no it will not it will just stop the auto sync when you will plug it in


  2. no - dont worry! it wont, i did that ages ago, my ipod got full of crappy old podcasts - etc, so i just stopped the sync, now i can add the selected songs and podcasts onto my ipod, without having everything on it at once! the music stays on your ipod even if you deleted it off your pc, and it stays on your pc even if u deleted it off your ipod, just dont do both!

  3. no it won't,  but doing it manually, depending on how often you add to it, can be tedious.  I had the same situation and found the easiest thing to do was to transfer my iPod to my computer.  there are several free softwares for this.  Just google "transfer ipod to computer".
