If i unlock my the new 3g iphone and use a different carrier will it still have a fast internet connection?

There is a fine if you don't have AT&T activate the phone within a 30 days of purchase, so if you do that you will end up getting charged for it.  There's also another small problem.  The unlocking software for the first Iphone probably won't work on the 3g one.

Anyways back to your question.  No you probably won't have as fast of a connection because T-mobile's 3g service isn't as good as AT&T's is.
