  1. if its 5400rpm then it won't be much different to the one thats in your ps3 now.

    7200 does heat up a lot faster then the 5400 one but as look as you keep it in an open space it should be fine.

  2. No it won't ! Just make sure you get a SATA 2.5 inch laprop hard drive !

    I've seen people upgrade to a 250GB SATA ! Also make sure you backup all saves on your old hard drive !

  3. Some people have said it causes problems but I think they are just lying. Most people get scared and get a HDD with only 5400rpm. I bought a 320gb 7200rpm HDD about 6 months ago and everything has been running like a charm. Just keep it well ventalated and clean. If you are that worried about it though you can always pick up and external hard drive.
