If i use .12/.16 bbs when .2 is suggested, will it ruin my gun?

Question

I have an m85 g36c airsoft AEG and it is suggested that i use .2g bbs, but will it ruin my gun if i feel like going for less expensive .12g or .16g bbs? I don't want to ruin my gun, but i don't do anything professional and don't mind a little curve if it costs less.

BTW i already know that .12/.16 bbs go farther, but reduce accuracy. and that .2 bbs don't go as fast but are more accurate, i just want to know if using the "wal-mart special" bbs will ruin my gun.

(btw my gun has a hop up, so i'm not too worried about low accuracy with .12/.16 bbs) plz lots of answers will help, even if someone has said something that you want to say!!!!

They are the same size.  Ignore the stupid answer.  .12 is less than .2 and has to do with weight but I'm pretty sure you knew that.  They are very light and a high powered gun might just blow them apart before they ever leave the barrel.  The little pieces will jam the next shot and could ruin your barrel.
