If i used corn bread mix..?

If i had corn bread mix and mixed in beans instead of corn, would it turn out okay? What if i used carrots?

Hmmm...not sure if it would change the texture or colour of the final product.   Why not just omit the corn or other stuff altogether and see how it turns out?  I've only ever had corn bread that is plain with nothing else in it. I think your best best is to just make it according to the directions but simply omit the corn.
