  1. you would become much fitter, but that depends on how much you weigh at present. id also expect to to eat more and be hungry, so you'd probably be more or less stable. btw, its better to run if you want to lose weight, so you might as well jog evernight for 2 miles or so which would be more effective.

  2. Depends on intensity of the walk, the food you eat and pace you're walking at. Also, don;t forget, your body will adapt itself to that pace and you won't lose weight. You will need to work harder to get the results you want

  3. It will depend on how much calories and fats you burn, the food you eat and liquids you drink. Also, muscles will definitely form on that span of time.

Always settle for healthy foods and minimize the bad ones. I know this might sound a little absurd as I also do like junk foods and iced tea you know. However, if you really want to lose weight you need to start thinking positive on your program. There is no shortcuts to it. (unless you go to a liposuction hospital). But you have the correct idea of a natural way of dieting.

  4. drink 1 litre of mint tea every day

use natural mint leaves, it speeds up your metabolism so you burn fat faster and is great for your skin

it leaves you feeling refreshed and cool and it tastes better than most teas

it is great for your teeth too

  5. 5 miles? It woukld really realy be eaiser for you to like jog two. Walking five miles is gonna take you like 2 hours.

  6. It doesnt work that way honey. For the first little while you'll lose weight maybe gradually. Then your body will be used to it and not lose any. You have to keep adding on. If you get to comfortable with the 5 miles, quicken your pace. Then maybe add a light jog at the end. Then keep adding, and evetually you'll be running the whole thing, continually losing weight (:

  7. You are assuming that you will eat the same amount of food, which may or may not be the case. If the food intake indeed remains same, in quality and quantity and if you were leading a totally sedentary life, you would indeed lose weight. How much depends on several factors, including the present weight (it takes more energy for a heavier person than a lighter person to walk the same distance), the temperature and humidity, the clothing which you wear, the slope of the road etc. You could keep checking your weight at regular intervals and then decide yourself whether to maintain the exercise, increase it or decrease it or modify the exercise.

  8. depends on caolories how fast you are walking if it is up hill down hill and things of that sort....
