study REALLY REALLY hard without wasting even a minute....by the way nobody can answer how much to study to get 1st rank. What do we know about you and your classmates capacity. You need to give some details like how competitive you are and things like that.

First of all keep  ur cocepts clear .if u ve any doubts , ask ur teachers and clear them up . Don't ever hesitate Also, don't be tensed . Take breaks while studying & be confident . All the very best

start studying from the starting of the yr itself ....dont postpone...pay attention when the teacher is teaching in the class......dont waste ur time n concentrate while studying ...its of no use if u just sit in front of the books for hours.....anyway all the best....
