  1. Yeah i would assume so,

as long as the male/female isn't violent towards the other one.

++ if these rabbits are related in anyway,

    please dont breed them,

    Good Luck

  2. have you read http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/r... ?

  3. NO! Rabbits are induced ovulators, meaning that they do not come into "heat" or "season". The doe releases an egg when the breeding takes place. Therefore, rabbits can breed at ANY time. They can also carry two litters at one time, so by leaving the buck and doe together, you could potentially have a new litter of rabbits every two weeks. This is cruel on the doe's part and would sooner or later cause her death.

Also, once they reach maturity, does tend to be territorial and aggressive in their cage, especially if she is with a buck. This usually leads to fighting which can end in serious injury or death to the buck.

This being said, these rabbits should probably not be bred anyway. Are they purebred, pedigreed stock? Does their body type match their breed standard? Does their type compliment each other as a breeding pair?

If you answered "No", or "I don't know" to any of those questions, these rabbits should not be bred.

In addition, male and female rabbits should be separated into different cages by the age of 10-12 weeks to prevent pregnancy and fighting, as previously mentioned. So whether these are "babies" or not, they should be separated immediately.
