  1. avoid all dairy products for about 2 hours before you sing, they make you lose some of your support

  2. ... of course you can drink milk. its just that milk, all dairy actually, helps to build up all this phlegm and gunk, and you definately dont want to be singing with all of that. ha if you dont want it to cause a problem with your voice, all you have to do is just try to cut out all dairy products about a week before you have a performance or an audition.

  3. You shouldn't drink it before you sing, no. Not just milk, either - avoid all dairy. It's just hard on the vocal chords.

  4. Yow! NO! I'm a music director and it kills your voice and cause phlegm.

    Chug some honey instead

  5. nope

  6. thats not true, you need milk for calcium and your bones and your teeth. but avoid drinking it only before talent shows or musicals where you sing a lot in, or any talent competition where you sing.
