If i want to skateboard down a mountain in the snow do i need to wax the board?

If i take the trucks and the wheels and junk off to snowboard down a mountain do i need to wax the board? i've tried to do this before but without wax. it didn't work very well. the snow stuck to the bottom of the wooden skateboard after the laminant came off. the laminant came off really fast? so do i need to wax or will it make no differance?

If you really want to have fun, try a snowboard, or a snowskate.

They actually make skateboards for snow, and some of them have a deck on a ski so its like having trucks and wheels. They can be pretty expensive tho.

Im not sure waxing the deck will help much, but its probably better than without. Skateboard decks arent made with porous bases that actually take in the wax.

yes sure wax it it would be much faster and more smooth. but i warn you this is very dangerous. so be carefull

Yeah, try to wax it. the snow will not stick to the bottom of the board as much, and the board will ride much smoother down the mountain. But be very careful, becuase this could make the board really fast and it could be dangerous!
