  1. bring a tent and dont eat or drink haha. its expensive so be prepared. you can get hostels cheap enough all over Ireland from 20 euro a night. your cheapest form of travel depends on where you are . www.irishrail.com and www.dublinbus.ie and www.buseireann.ie are al sites that you can check out. dont get taxis anywhere they are a complete rip off.

  2. the best way to see everything is to backpack aroud and stay in hotels and b&b's.its the cheapest way to do it.travel by bus as taxi or car hire is very expensive.you wouldnt want to be eating out every evening either ,its so expensive here.if the weathers good light up a bbq or even have a pub dinner which is cheaper than a restaraunt!!:) enjoy yerselves!!

  3. stay in youth hostels and for 2 persons, take or borrow any friends car to roam

  4. ****Also colleges ~ I know Trinity in Dublin is a cheap way to stay and B&B's throughout Ireland.  Belfast also has at least one college that you can stay in.

  5. Ehh im Irish and i'l just warn you the cost of living is very high however we are well paid so it dosent matter to irish citizens but if u are coming from abroad things will seem expensive compared to at home. For e.g The irish minimum wage is 8euro65cent an hour which is about 12 american dollars an hour, now as far as i know the minimum wage in USA is like 4/5 dollars an hour so our minimum wage is up to 3 times higher than in the USA so if u were trying to save up u'd hav to work three times longer(hours)to earn what an irish person gets.I hope im making sense. So the best bet wud b camping but if ur not into that stay in a hostel or B&B.Google hostels in ireland. The rates will vary depending on where ur staying.Actually theres a gud example. If a hostel costs 10 euro a nyt thats a little over an hours wages in irish terms but an american wud have to work almost 4 hours to afford that so currency rates and wage standards in ur country will affect how much u ar able to stay in our country(bcoz a month will b very expensive)

  6. Stay in hostels. I spent three months in Galway, which is on the west coast of Ireland and explored from there. Hands down the cheapest way to travel in Europe is to take trains and stay in youth hostels. There are lots of good websites to let you know which are the good hostels.
