If you are talking about designing games, then check out places on the net likeDeVry institutes, and see what they reccommend.  If you are talking about working on slot and video machines, there are special rules for that, and you particular state or city or "Indian Gaming Regualtions will also give you the info on what you wil lbe required to know.have before you can go into that particular industry

1.  English.  No matter what, you need to study English.  That's the only way that you can communicate with people.  Communicating is very important.  

2.  Take some programming class, like C++.

3.  If you're interested in game design, take some art classes so you can draw what you want to design.
