  1. 1. Need a working visa.  Go to a Mexican Embassy.

    2. Dual citizenship is hard unless you are married, have a big business in both countries or well connected.

    3. Pay is not as great but it might be tax free since it might qualify for Foreign Income Exemption.

    4.  Don't know how much but should be low...most Mexicans are aft in English and spanish so I doubt if they are lacking in labor.

  2. The reality here is that you cannot make a living in Mexico. To reside Mexico, you  need to get an FM 3 visa. You must have proof of at least $1200.00 a month steady income from the U.S....like a pension, or proof of at least one years worth in the bank. This visa must be renewed every year and proof of income is required. After 5 years you may apply for an FM2 visa ( similar to a green card in the U.S.) After 2 more years, you may apply or citizenship...which takes at least 2 years....if it is granted.  Then, yes, you may have dual citizenship.  People who cannot provide proof of income often go to Mexico on a 180 day tourist card...and leave every 6 months for a day or so, then re-enter on another tourist card. You CANNOT work in Mexico without an FM3 and a work permit....very difficult to get. You must find an employer who will write a letter to immigration and state that he is giving you a job for which he cannot find a Mexican citizen. Then your work permit is tied to that specific job. Even professional jobs pay a fraction of what they do in the U.S. Unemployment in Mexico is high...they do not NEED" workers. Retiring in Mexico works well, moving here as a young person who needs to work, simply does not.  There are plenty of very educated mexicans who speak English, working as waiters as there are no better jobs available and they make more as waiters anyway.  Many Americans think they want to move to Mexico to work...they do not seem to think there is a REASON so many Mexicans go to the U.S. to work!

The unemployment rate here is huge.

Read the fine print on the back of you FM T

You may not do anything re-numerable while on a tourist visa.

The tide going north is obvious . I dont mean to be rude to you but some people who answer some of these questions and if you listen to them you could end up in big trouble

    Working in Mexico  NO WAY

Duel Citizenship  are just words --There is no such thing,

If and when an American applies for and is given a citizen ship card, that American has to renounce the country of his origin.

Which is , in the eyes of America . not recognized, by the Embassy and your immigration department.

It Takes years to exhaust this process . After almost ten years of Migra policies may you apply to be a citizen here.
