If i was a CLONE would i still be a "child of god"?

EDIT: Now you're just being silly! Human cloning is inethical and not yet being performed. I hope it never gets the green light, to be honest. Who are we to take God's work into our own hands?

No, because the original you is not a child of some mythical being either.

Yes.  Consider the case of identical twins.  At one point, they were part of the same organism.  At some point early in development, that organism split.  They both have souls, and they're both children of God.  If a human did the cloning, the clone would have to have living cells taken from SOMETHING; ergo, in my opinion, it would have its own life, and its own soul.

no, u are the child of either your parents or a scientist in a lab. either normal humans are children of their parents. this is basic biology
