  1. It's dismissed, but your fingerprints will now be on file........

  2. The case and all information will always be on record...why would it ever be deleted?  It should not be a worry since it was dismissed.

  3. If you never do it again, it won't come back to haunt you. If you do, you'll be regarded, informally, as a habitual offender. If you apply for a job, however, they usually ask if you've ever been CONVICTED of a crime, not if you were accused of one.

Have you considered taking an anger management course?

  4. You can honestly state you were never convicted of a crime on any application, but the arrest record will remain on file.

Outside of certain high security jobs, the only question you will be asked will be about convictions, so from that aspect you are fine.

Depending on your location, it may be possible to have the arrest record expunged ( removed). Best advice is to consult with an attorney within the jurisdiction of the arrest. He can advise what your state laws are concerning removal of arrest records.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you

  5. Then you are free.
