If i was moving to a new province for university, how would I go about doing it?

I plan on going to university in British Columbia, but I need to know how to go about moving there.

  1. If you are a Canadian citizen, there is no special paperwork, just get all the school paperwork taken care of in advance (through the school registrar's office). If not a citizen, there are different requirements for a student visa depending on where you come from. Check the Canada Citizenship and Immigration website for details.


  2. best is to live in rez first year, as you dont really know the area, which areas are safe, close, easy to get to campus etc.

    take as much as you can of just clothes, and lap top etc.  you can buy things like linnens, microwave out there, cheap stuff and use it all 4 years.
