if i was vegan and i only ate fruit and veggies..3 SMAALL meals a day for 3 weeks would i look super skinny?

And exersized too!

  1. You would look smokin hot. Veganism is a wonderful diet to lose weight!

The Vegan Society, the Vegetarian Resource Group, and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, among others, recommend that vegans either consistently eat foods fortified with B-12 or take a daily or weekly B-12 supplement. Fortified breakfast cereals are a particularly valuable source of vitamin B-12 for vegetarians and vegans.

  3. not a wise idea. you'd have little energy, protein and iron which is needed to be able to exercise properly. eat beans, lentils, rice and pasta in small portions for those things.

  4. Nice try, but don't try it. It's actually a really bad idea.

    Why would you want to starve? There are SUCH BETTER ways to get in shape, if that's what you're looking to do. Get a personal trainer.

  5. If you only ate fruits and vegetables and three small meals a day and you exercised, in order to look super skinny, not only would you be disappointed in the results, you'd also probably have an eating disorder and be sick.

    If you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat. It's not healthy to lose more than about one pound a week (after two to three the first week). Trust me. It's also hard to keep off.

    If your weight is unhealthy, you would benefit from exercise and fewer calories. If your weight is healthy, but you'd rather lose more, follow the same game plan. If you cut 500 calories a day (or burn that much with exercise) you'll lose weight at a healthy rate and be more likely to keep it off.

    Veganism (or vegetarianism for that matter) are not weight loss plans. Believe it or not, it's entirely possible to be a fat vegetarian or vegan. Yes, you can even GAIN weight following a strictly vegan or vegetarian diet.

    I don't know who's giving you the idea that super skinny will some how make you better, but you should totally give them the finger. Anyone who has an "if" about what makes someone good will never be satisfied.

  7. You could be. You could also be considered having an eating disorder. Or severely malnourished. Or in a hospital with a feeding tube up your nose. Or dead.

    Fyi- Veganism is not a weight loss program. There are safer, healtheir ways to lose weight in three weeks. This just cheapens the principles that define veganism.

    BUT- you can eat LOTS of fruit and veggies and exercise loads

    and still be SUPER SKINNY

    without being knackered and hungry.
