  1. If you want colored contacts that you will actually be able to see with, you need to have your optomitrist to write you a script for them.  If you just want to change the color of your eyes and still wear your glasses, then just buy them.

  2. Yes, you need a doctor's prescription for any contact lenses.  And you need to get a new prescription annually or any contact store/wesite will not allow you to renew your lens order.

For the health and safety of your eyes, I would recommend NOT wearing contacts from a store that does not require a prescription (sounds dicey to me!).

  3. That is a scarey thing. You should never put somjething in your eye that your doctor did not prescribe. This is illegal in the US. YOur glasses RX is not the same as a Contact lense rX.

  4. if you can buy them without a prescription, they are probably not magnified at all. so if you do get them, you should wear them with your glasses or you wont be able to see.

but i would talk to my doctor first to make sure that they are safe to use in your eyes.
