Ifi went to the eye doctor, and yes i do have one, can they prescribe eye drops for you for redness of the eye. And no dont say clear eyes or anything like that because that stuff only works for about 10 minutes and my eyes are all red again. Its weird but like places like hospitals and schools and certain stores, my eyes get really red and i dont know why. But any other time they are fine. But my question is can they prescribe good eye drops for that, that actually work?

--Thanks in advance!

  1. Any optometrist could do this for you.

  2. stop using anything like clear eyes if you are using it right now.  those "Get the red out" type drops have chemicals which your eyes get addicted to, and that is why you have the rebound redness 10 minutes later.  An optometrist or an ophthalmologist to find out what is causing the redness, it could be allergies, dry eyes, or an infection.  Either one of them can prescribe the necessary drops to treat the problem.

  3. Yes they can, as long as it is an eye doctor, not just someone who dispenses glasses.  See an ophthalmologist.

  4. yes, you can get a prescription. you need to talk to your optometrist though, he will tell you why your eyes are acting this way and he will prescribe the drops you need
