If i were to be appointed MMDA Chairwoman...?

...would you support one of my goals to re-paint the pink-blue inspired overpasses in the metro? & possibly put roofs on em?

what color would you suggest?

i also plan on planting more trees on sidewalks as a solution to pollution. i heard trees do really good for the air.

Roofs is great! Paint them gray. That way you can't tell they're getting dirty.

Sorry, but trees just isn't enough. What you really need is like they have in Taipei. Neighborhood parks. Every 2 or 3 blocks there is a small park that has lots of greenery where kids can play.

having more trees would really help.. if only we have enough spaces for it.

i prefer the light green color and maroon for the overpass.

As for the color scheme of the overpasses, paint them all metallic silver with stripes or oval spots of the deepest red.

Miss Anna, I will definitely support your greenery project.  Trees are not only aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, they are good too for absorbing excess water on the ground and sucking up the pollutants in the air.

As to repainting the overpasses, I leave the choice of colors to your good taste.  Oh yes, putting roof covering would be most welcome, esp. during our sporadic ("padagsa-dagsang ulan") rainy days.

paint it with black and white and yes i agree with more trees...i'd rather see leaves falling than banners.

I would support you! I'm gonna give you buckets o' pink and blue paint! You know, i think gold and silver would do good too. Roofs ain't enough! You should install some e-weck-weck fan (steddy lang) or better yet... erkon (steddy rin.. todo dapat).
