If i were to get a new prescription will my insurance coverage reset?

i have cigna and im on therapy but the wont cover over 1000 dollars when i read the contract. if with a new prescription will it cover the therapy still

IF the maximum dollar limit for the year is $1,000, it won't reset until next year.  If the max is per lifetime, it won't ever reset.

Prescription coverage limits are for all prescriptions. They will only cover $1,000 of any prescribed medication-doesn't matter what the prescribed medication is...

Same for therapy-once you meet the max, doesn't matter that you are ordered to have more. You will have to pay for any further expenses on your own.
