  1. Tea set is not a controlled item, so there is no need for inspection, but they are subject to custom examination through the entry point whether by sea or by air and if you are importing in bulk you've to declare you intention via a import permit to bring in your cargoes. If yours is a personal item pick up while on holiday so I see thats not a problem at all.


  2. As far as this moment, no need.

    But, you still need to do proper import documentation for custom clearance and GST.

    For that you need a CR number.
