Question:

If i were to say that because it always rained when i was with someone is this an example of pathetic fallacy?

or would it be more like foreshadowing because it is foreshadowing the end of the relationship? i may have answered my own question but a conformation would be appreciated :)

    You aren't anthropomorphising or imagining any human qualities in the rain.  You're just using a metaphor.  Sorry.

    And don't be so pessimistic.  It's too easy to believe a relationship is ending, when in reality it may only be changing.
