  3. SOCCER is "THE SPORT" in Costa Rica.

    The major stadiums are in the San Jose area, but each team has it's own stadium.  Games are mostly played on Wednesday nights, and Sunday days.  In fact I'm going to my favorite bar dressed in my finest purple shirt to watch Saprissa ( my team) play in the quarter finals  today at 11:00
