If you are a permanent green card holder (legal permanent resident), it is now taking 5 years or more to get a spousal visa and gain entrance.  You have no priority, and India has so many millions of applicants ahead of you, you will be lucky if it is only 5 years.

About 3  years.  Start the ball rolling as soon as possible and start filling the forms, with your LOCAL USA IMMIGRATION OFFICE and be sure  you will pay all the fees  required...when you deposit the paper work in the hands of the USA IMMIGRATION DEPT. & answer and take care all the corespondance that you will receive from the IMIGRATION DEPT....as soon as possible

If she has been granted a green card status, then she ought to be able to apply for a visa, passport, etc, get a round trip plane ticket and just get on a plane....especially if you are her sponsor.

If you are on the green card, and she doesn't have one, that may be a question best asked by the US State Department.  She will definitely need a visa, and it takes time to get one, depending on the requirements she has to meet.  Find out what those are and start getting them in order.
