If i work at an ampm and im not getting my 2 15 min breaks can i file a law suit or where can i complain?

i work at a AM PM for minimum wage. we don't get our 15 min breaks and we have to stay at least 15 minutes everyday without pay for other cashiers to arrive. can i file a law suit to get my breaks?

with out that info there is no way to answer about breaks as the laws in each state are different.

as far as work off the clock that is illegal everywhere. if you are required to work then they are required to pay you.

Depending on where you are, you might not be legally required to get breaks.  There is no federal law requiring breaks, although some states do under certain circumstances.

If you are required to stay 15 minutes past your stated quitting time, yes they have to pay you for that time.  Put the actual time you finish working on your timecard.

depends look at the company guidelines on work hours -- unless it states you are entitled to breaks you are our of luck!!!

If you in California 2 15 minutes breaks and a half hour lunch are required by law.

Call the labor board.

sorry no you cant i work in a gas station and i dont get 2 15 min breaks i do get my half hour break and if some outhers are not their in time and i stay extra time i get paid for the time i stay some work places dont give 15 min breaks it depends on the place u work but they must give u a half hour break for evey 4 hours u work if u work 10 or more hours they must give u at least 2 half hour breaks or a 45 min break hope this helps and god bless
