then i will become a cop

will i get a promation or somthig

nope. but you better make sure your education is up to par. i did the same thing but my 18 college credited hours of good ol' USMC learnin' didnt match up with the 60 required hours of my local pd. even me being a vet didnt help. alot of cops now are veterans and so police departments dont give us that "head of the line" treatment anymore. not that they dont care about us, they just get so many of us that they cant play favorites.
