  1. No.  That will cost you more money in the long run and on the outset.


  2. That depends on how far behind and if you will be able to keep up even if you do refinance. If you think you have enough equity then good, go for it and pay off your bills, if you really dont have any equity then you are really gonna be in the same place as you are now, just trying to keep up. But I wouldnt want to loose my house either.
