If im on my work computer, but not on my works Wifi can they see my internet history?

Im at a beach condo using the free wifi, im using a work issued computer, can they still see what im searching??

yes they can! Also some company's will place programms on your comp that allows them to see everything your doing, and i mean everything.

These programms run in the background. The user is completly unaware to the fact that your being tracked.

No, unless someone has physical access to it.  When you reconnect to your corporate network, then admins will have access but it's doubtful that anyone would be snooping around on your laptop.  Usage is usually monitored in real time.
