Hi, i'm wondering if i can ship something to a post office under my name, using the post office's address. Could i then just go to the post office when the package is there and pick it upwith my ID, or is this illegal in any way? Im ordering a CD that my paretns wont let me get and im worried they'll receive the package before i do.

  1. yeah. I dont think you can do that!! Get a friends address or something

  2. go down there and get a postal box at the post office just for a month... the only way it will be sen to the post office is if when its delivered and no one is home to recieve it they will leave a little brown paper telling you its at the post office

  3. You'll need to call your local post office. Not all post offices have the same policies.

  4. You can't ship something to the post office.  You're only option if you don't want it to go to your home is to rent a PO box.

  5. No you can't do that, otherwise everybody could do that and the post office couldn't charge for P.O. Boxes anymore. Sorry

  6. No you cant. You need to send it to a valid address or post office box that you rent. You could ask a friend and send it to their house!
